The beauty of a melody opens the heart, the line of a drawing provides new perspective…With the live painting/ music collaborative work “Home Within” as its centerpiece, this evening’s performance is an intimate, passionate and deeply personal artistic response to violent conflict.
Also on the program: a premiere of a new work by composer / clarinetist Kinan Azmeh and film maker Khalil Younes for clarinet, electronics, and string quartet.
